November 10, 1976 — October 26, 2023

Michael Lee Schissler, born on November 10, 1976, in Denver, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2023, in Westminster. He was a dedicated family man who worked diligently throughout his life to support his loved ones and pursued various career paths.

Michael's professional journey began at Sparkle Carwash, where he served as a steamer of trucks and cars. His commitment to his work and attention to detail made him an indispensable member of the team. In addition to his time at Sparkle Carwash, Michael also worked as a ticket broker and an Uber driver, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability in the professional realm.

However, it was in his personal life that Michael truly found joy. He will be fondly remembered for his love of fishing, a hobby that brought him solace and allowed him to connect with nature. Most importantly, Michael cherished the moments spent with his children. His strong bond with his son Andrew James, that sadly past away the summer of 2023 at 22 years old,  serves as a testament to the deep care and affection he dedicated to his family.

Surviving Michael is his loving spouse Katie, who stood by his side through thick and thin. And Katie's two children: Gracie, an eleven-year-old girl who adored Michael's warm presence; and Truman, a seven-year-old boy who looked up to Michael as a role model.

Michael was also dearly cared for by Tammy, the mother of Andrew James; Jennifer, his beloved sister; Danny, his father and Marilyn, his mother. Their unwavering support brought comfort to Michael during life's challenges including his many health problems over the years.

In reflecting upon Michael's life, we celebrate the memories he created with those he held dear. His dedication to providing for his family was evident in every aspect of his being. Although he has departed this earthly realm, the impact he made on the lives of all who knew him will be forever cherished.

Michael Lee Schissler will be remembered as a devoted family man, a diligent worker, and a lover of simple pleasures. As we mourn his loss, let us also honor the legacy he leaves behind and find solace in the memories that will forever live on in our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.
